About me

Greetings! My name is Anna, I was born and raised in Wisconsin. My artistic journey started in a hospital bed in 2015 after I suffered from a severe car accident. Doctors wanted to amputate my leg and told me I may not ever be able to walk again. After over 19 surgeries on both of my legs and by God's many miracles, they were able to reconstruct my legs so I could eventually learn how to walk again. As you can imagine I suffer from severe pain in both of my legs and painting was one of the only things that would relieve that pain. I never painted a day in my life until my friend visited me in the hospital and brought me some paint, a paint brush, and a canvas, and that is how I developed this God given talent! In 2017 I became interested in a new passion in creating keepsake jewelry out of breast milk when I had my daughter, the sleepless nights, the tears, exhaustion, and extreme joy that was put into providing nourishment for my daughter made me want to recognize that journey and have a memory of it forever. I began experimenting with my own breast milk for about a year until I was ready to start my business. While my love for breastfeeding mamas is my passion, ashes, dried flowers, placenta, umbilical cord, hair and other keepsake pieces bring just as much joy to me as I get to hear of the stories and significance of each keepsake going into a piece of jewelry. I pray my art creations will bring joy to others and maybe even some pain relief the way they have for me, for those suffering any kind of pain, or just a simple memory of a loved one or a special moment in your life.

Blessings,
Anna
