Sending your inclusions
*Please do not send me the very last of your inclusions, while it is rare that inclusions get lost in the mail it can happen and I wouldn’t want for you to not have anything left of your inclusion(s)*
Please DO NOT send certified mail or require a signature, this can make it harder for me to receive if I am not home and may end up getting sent back to you. Send USPS in a bubble envelope. Please do not send inclusions in boxes.
Please read instructions carefully to ensure proper packaging and shipment
How much of each inclusion is needed?
*Breastmilk- please limit to 2oz. it typically only takes 10ml to make 3 pieces of jewelry, I do freeze the remaining amount for 6 months. In case you would like to order another piece, after 6 months the breastmilk will be discarded. I can use fresh, frozen, high lipase and even spoiled breastmilk because it’s not being used for human consumption it’s perfectly safe for the jewelry. If it is frozen I do ask that you thaw before sending, to prevent condensation. I do not send back any bottles or special packaging so please use breastmilk storage bags for sending this inclusion. Please DOUBLE bag in good quality breastmilk storage bags, label your first and last name, and order number in permanent marker on the outside of the first bag.
*please note that not all breastmilk will turn out the same color as it was before it was preserved. The milk is preserved naturally therefore I do not use any artificial coloring in my preservation process to make the milk look perfectly white. Every sample of milk is different, If the milk is old or due to diet, medications, and other factors this can make the milk turn yellow or brown in color. If you would like your piece to look white and not its natural color please leave a comment in your order to add a white pigment during the creation process*
*Hair- 20-25 strands of human or pet hair per piece, I do ask for more if the hair is very light. should be at least 2 inches long but I can still create a keepsake with any amount or length. Unused hair will be discarded unless you specifically request that it is returned with your piece. If you are able to tie the strands together please do so, place in a zip lock bag with your first and last name and order number written in permanent marker.
*Ashes- 1/2 tsp- 1 tablespoon (more for bigger pieces like a tree of life necklace) is needed. Any ashes that are not used will be returned to you with your finished piece. Please put ashes in a ziplock bag with your first and last name and order number written in permanent marker.
*Placenta- 1 capsule of dried placenta. Any unused portion will be discarded unless you specifically request that it is returned. Place in a ziplock bag with your first and last name and order number written in permanent marker.
*Umbilical Stump- You can send either the whole dried stump or just the pieces you would like included in your piece. If you send the whole stump I will return any unused portion with your finished piece unless requested to discard. Please note *umbilical stumps will be crushed up unless specified otherwise. Place in a ziplock bag with your first and last name and order number written in permanent marker.
*Flowers- I can only use DRIED FLOWERS this means if your flowers are not already dried you will need to do this on your own, to do this you place them in between 2 pieces of paper towel and put them in a book with another heavy book or object on top. Dry and flatten for at least a week or more depending on what flower is used. There are other ways to dry flowers by searching on google. Message me if you have any questions.
